I believe it is important for young people to connect with the natural world. I have a passion for helping young people develop, and forming healthy relationships with others in the outdoors. The East Gippsland coast is a great place for all this learning to take place. Being at Snowy River is about being a part of a dynamic teaching team and living in a learning environment with staff and students.

Leading to this experience I have studied Secondary Teaching, Outdoor Education and a Certificate 4 in Youth Work which has lead me to work casually as a teacher, working in the outdoors with school groups and a variety of volunteer and community work projects in Bendigo and around Victoria. My wife and I live in the area with a small and growing family.

I am looking forward to journeying with the students this term and the 'living and learning' at the Snowy River Campus.
