Rest Day - Fishing and Tennis Print
Written by Shannon, Snowy Student Term 1 2010

One of our wacky out rested days Today was really fun we all had a rest day.  11 of us went fishing in the morning and 11 went to the tennis courts in Marlo in the afternoon and at 4 pm we have a HD TV call from the Dinner Plain Campus which is from one of the other schools for leadership.

The 11 students that went to fishing caught about 7 fish but they were too small to keep so we threw them back.  3 of the fish were skippies, 3 flat heads and 1 finger print. I caught one flat head and the finger print, I was the only one who caught 2.  It was so cool, I was multitasking. I was swimming as well as fishing.  When we got back from fishing nearly everyone was ‘emoed’ up, their hair was done and so was their makeup, they ‘emoed’ me up as well.

After we had lunch the 11 students that wanted to go to Marlo to play tennis did.  It was fun, I can’t play tennis but I had a go. It was so funny; I kept hitting the ball to the right side of the court. We saw Ms. Howards’ dogs, they are so cute. That brightened my day as I have not seen my puppy. I can’t see him till parents visiting weekend =) We stayed at tennis til 4.  When we all came back to SRC some of us raced to the HD TV call with Dinner Plain. It was awesome. After the HD TV call we had dearr ( drop everything and read, reflect), after ate tea and then went to kick the football around. For evening class we did introduction to costal environments that was quite fun and very interesting. We talked about our costal environment.
