On the 17th of this month 1B went on expo. The first day was quite fun once you got over the annoying heat and the sand which kept sinking underneath your feet. I was navigator the first day and quite a few times thought I’d walked too far and started getting stressed out. When we finally got to the camp site we set up and got changed and went straight to the inlet for a well-deserved swim. We all had a big night talking and still managed to get a fair amount of sleep. On the second day we had to pack up which we all did reluctantly but managed to get everything packed up in time. We had to walk back along the power line track which was very tiring because we had to go up and down hills and were all very tired. Over all I’m sure we all enjoyed our first Expo.
