Peter's Second Expo Print

Hey it's Peter again,
A few days ago I had expo 2.
We walked from the school to the beach and walked to Frenches Narrows.
There we met 1A and got their canoes, as they were dropped off on Mt Raymond and had to walk back to SRC and paddled to Corringle Beach where we stayed at a campsite and played a few games.

After dinner we walked over a sand dune to Corringle Beach and did review and had the king tide nearly washing over us.
When we woke up we jumped into the canoes after a quick pack up and paddled down the Snowy River.
After a few mishaps and lunch we arrived at our second campsite and made the cow fence and setup our tents.
We relaxed as it had been a long day, but dinner was a strong want for everyone and we soon had everything cooking.
My Green Thai Curry was too spicy for me and I ended up not eating dinner because my throat was on fire.
After 5 bottles of water, I ran review, incorporating a dance at the end of review.
The next morning we woke up at around 5:45am and left by 7:35am to get back in the canoes and paddle across Lake Curlip and drop off the canoes.
After a short break we headed off towards Mt Raymond.
Mt Raymond was a challenge because it was mostly uphill and really steep.
But we made really good progress and ended up climbing Mt Raymond in 2-3 hours and had lunch on the peak with a beautiful lookout across Marlo and some of Orbost.
By the end we had canoed 20kms and walked 10kms, so a massive effort for 1B.
After an hour long drive back to SRC, the real challenge began.
Clean up.
But surprisingly we got that done fairly quickly and got to have nice, hot showers.
