Today 1B (Princes Hill SC and Echuca High School) had the bridge building class.

At the beginning of the day, we were all very excited because we had heard that bridge building is lots of fun. After packing all our gear and loading the bus, we headed off to Orbost Angling Club to start the class.

The briefing was simple and we started soon after. At first, we thought that building a bridge would not be too difficult but as the day progressed we realized that we were in for a challenge. Nearing the end of the day, assembling the bridge in the water became problematic but with perseverance and determination we eventually created it. Before leaving, we reflected on the day and loaded the gear back on the bus. Everyone enjoyed the day and were pleased with their efforts.
