Last week we had bush dance night. We learnt the heal toe, barnyard and bush dance. Everyone was nervous and we looked really silly dancing but I think everyone enjoyed it. We got to know everyone better and overall it was a great night. Today we had Marlo Challenge, which is where you dress up in weird outfits and my group were called the Unco Tourist. We looked really silly but it was funny and unfortunately it was raining so our outfits couldn’t be seen. We were shown photos that were places or objects around Marlo and we made notes to try to memorize what the photo looked like and we had to go find that object or place somewhere in Marlo and take a photo of it. Points were allocated depending on how close our photo looked to the real photo. Our group was surprised to come second; it was a really fun day.

On Saturday the 23rd of October I was student leader with Caleb Westhead. Everybody gets a chance at being student leader, and it’s a big role to take on because it keeps the community flowing and it’s a big responsibility. I believe I have become a more confident person from taking on this role and I will respect teachers more from now on because I know that it is quite difficult to run a class.
